Enhanced EEG based User Authentication Using
Machine Learning Optimization

I developed a practical EEG-based biometric authentication system using affordable hardware (OpenBCI Cyton) instead of expensive medical equipment. Testing three simple cognitive tasks eyes closed with audio, number watching, and number imagining across seven participants and 10 sessions each, the system achieved over 92% accuracy using machine learning models (KNN and Random Forest) applied directly to filtered signals without manual feature extraction. The approach trains in seconds on a standard laptop and demonstrates that low-cost brain authentication is viable for real-world cybersecurity applications.

Electronic fitness training device: a smart wearable system for real-time exercise form correction

I developed a real-time fitness form correction system using dual ESP32 wearable devices that communicate via WiFi. Worn on both wrists, the system compares bilateral movement during exercises and provides instant vibrotactile feedback when form deviates beyond safe thresholds. Using Kalman filtering to reduce sensor noise from ±4° to ±2°, the device detects errors in under 100ms while tracking reps and duration on an OLED display. Tested on bicep curls and shoulder presses, it demonstrates how affordable embedded systems can prevent workout injuries through immediate corrective feedback.
